Pokemon homepage update released, patch notes revealed

The Pokemon Company’s Pokemon Home service is used to transfer Pokemon from one game to another and to complete players’ Pokedex rosters among other things, recently updated. The update in question was relatively young in terms of what has changed since we’re not in the midst of any new Pokemon release at the moment, so there’s nothing that can be done in terms of compatibility. It basically added a new option to completely delete a person’s account if they choose to do so with the same update that also addresses a couple of issues.

Although Pokemon Home is available on the Nintendo Switch as well as Android and iOS devices, it appears that this update has only been released for mobile platforms. Nintendo’s support site for the app is still listing the May 26 update as the latest update for the Switch, so it’s not clear when the next update will come to the Switch. The May 26 update, by comparison, was released to all platforms on the same day.

Regardless, it is now over for mobile devices. You can see the brief patch notes for version 2.0.2 update below to see what’s new:

Pokemon Home Version 2.0.2 Patch Notes

  • Added the ability to delete user accounts
  • Fixed an issue where the location where a Pokémon was first met would not display under certain conditions
  • Fixed an issue where search criteria were sometimes not reflected when searching for a specific Pokemon on GTS
  • Other issues have also been addressed in order to ensure a user-friendly experience

With Pokemon Home usable in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond And the radiant pearlThe application adheres to the compatibility requirements before it is released scarlet pokemon And the Violet. These new games will be released in November, and as Nintendo has already confirmed, they will support Pokemon Home connections after the games are released. Nintendo reminded players that games compatible with Pokemon Home “can only receive Pokémon that can be obtained in that particular game,” so that aspect of the service hasn’t changed.

The latest update for Pokemon Home is now available for mobile platforms.
